About Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology

The Center for Distance and Online Education (CDOE) was established in 2020 to spread knowledge and provide quality education in the open and distance education modes. This center has been launched in compliance with UGC's Online Learning (OL) and Online and Distance Learning (ODL) Regulations 2020. The center aims to facilitate high-quality education for those who cannot avail of higher education in the conventional mode and those who seek to learn as a lifelong activity. Currently, the center offers various undergraduate and postgraduate programs in science, humanities, and management.
 
CDOE provides electronically delivered courses under the four-quadrant approach guided by the UGC. Study programs will be accessible to students through a virtual learning environment with integrated and relevant support services. This environment will facilitate meaningful and consistent delivery of content in the form of uploaded videos, learning materials, and discussion forums. Students would be involved with highly qualified faculty and activities that would achieve the program's learning outcomes while maintaining academic integrity.
 
Sathyabama ODL online degree programs are a stimulating and interactive assortment of virtual learning platforms that mirror the classroom experience. The goal is to facilitate direct, real-time collaboration with Sathyabama faculty, professional colleagues, and course facilitators. The strength of Sathyabama ODL is its flexible program structure format. All programs are designed to teach you how to adapt to new situations, connect with others, take charge, and think differently, all while learning the skills and knowledge you need to advance your career.

1. Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology online B.Com. 
The Bachelor of Commerce at Sathyabama is a 3-year undergraduate program designed to equip students with the necessary business knowledge and provide a foundation in all aspects of business. A student can explore career opportunities in accounting, marketing and advertising, banking, business management, business development, economic analysis, financial planning, fund management, management consulting, foreign affairs, international trade and business analysis, government administration, policy formulation, and administration portfolios in the private and public sectors.
