Sabarmati University is Gujarat’s first state-run private dual-mode university, located near Ahmedabad’s Vishno Devi circle, with a primary focus on skill development and interdisciplinary education. In 2009, the state legislature of Gujarat granted Sabarmati University the prestigious status of state private university, which was later updated with Act No. 20 in the year 2019.

Sabarmati University, formerly known as Calorx Teachers’ University, provides a variety of undergraduate and graduate programmes, including BBA, BA, B.Com., B.Ed., LLB, BCA, B.Sc., and MA, M.Sc., M.Com., MCA, MBA.
