Sambalpur University Distance Education, Sambalpur Orissa was established in the year 1999 to offer higher learning to build a career in the field of Management, Humanities and Computer Applications. Sambalpur University Distance Education is approved by the reputed Distance Education Bureau and is affiliated with Sambalpur University, Sambalpur. It has launched MCA, MBA, BCA, BBA, PGDCA & DCA programs through a distance platform, with NICE, as its Service Provider cum Education Centre. In the fitness of this Centre, it initiated an Open and Distance Education platform course with thirteen affiliated colleges under Sambalpur University to serve as Student Support Centre (LSC), with a hope to reach out to more and more students and help them in their endeavour to study further and taking learning to aspirant at their doorstep by removing all barriers of education.
