PRSU (Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University) is a higher education institution in Raipur, Chhattisgarh. The university is one of Chhattisgarh’s oldest and largest institutions of higher learning. Founded by the government of Madhya Pradesh in 1964, it is a state university. 144 college affiliates and 29 University Teaching Departments make PRSU for a teaching-cum-affiliating university. Pandit Ravishankar Shukla University, also known as PRSU, provides its students with a diverse choice of programmes. These programmes provide a wide choice of specialization in all major fields, including commerce, arts, and science. These specializations are available at PRSU through UG/PG, Certificate, PG Diploma, and doctorate level programmes.

Q5. what are the facilities provided by PSRU?

Ans. PRSU provides adequate infrastructural facilities for students and faculty. It including a health centre to cater to medical needs, a library with a collection of books, indoor and outdoor sports facilities, separate hostels for boys and girls, a canteen to serve food to students, a gymnasium for physical fitness, and a computer room to provide practical knowledge. Other amenities such as wi-fi, a bank, a post office, an Indian coffee shop, and so on are also available to them.

Ans. The following scholarships are available:

Students from the reserved (SC/ST/OBC quota) are eligible for a scholarship if they achieve a 75 percent grade point average in their Higher Secondary Examination,
Students from Minority Communities are eligible for a scholarship if they get a 75 percent on their Higher Secondary Exam.
Students from low-income families are eligible for a scholarship from the University.
Students whose parents are now serving or have previously served in the military are eligible for a scholarship.
