North- East Hill University or NEHU university was established in the year of 1973, under an Act 24 of 1973 by both Houses of Parliament. It is a central university and was accredited with ‘A’ grade from the NAAC. There are approx. 66 undergraduate colleges affiliated which including 8 professional institutes. North East Hill University​ Eligibility Criteria

1. A minimum of 55% is necessary for the courses MA, MSc, MJMC, MBA, MTTM, MLISc, and PGPD-SEDE. Although just 45% of ST/SC pupils must pass, they still have to.
2. The minimum B.Ed. requirement for the M.Ed. program is 55%. A 5% discount is available to applicants from the SC/ST groups.
