Dibrugarh University, India’s easternmost university, was founded in 1965 as a result of the provisions of the Dibrugarh University Act, 1965, passed by the Assam Legislative Assembly. The Directorate of Distance Education is a distance and open learning institute founded in 2001 by Dibrugarh University in Dibrugarh, Assam. The centre offers B.Com., BA, B.Sc., M.Sc., MA, PGDM, and other undergraduate, postgraduate, and PG diploma programmes. UG programmes need a 10+2 diploma, whereas PG and PG Diploma courses require a bachelor’s degree in a related discipline. Students can apply online, and they will be chosen based on their performance in the prior qualifying exams.
