BAOU (Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University) is an Ahmedabad-based Open University founded in 1994. It was founded to provide advanced education freedom to a greater segment of the population and to support the Open University and distant training framework as a model for the rest of the country. Undergraduate, graduate, doctoral, and diploma programmes are available at the college. Distance education is now available for almost all of the university’s programmes.
