CSIR UGC NET Eligibility Requirements
Educational Qualifications
Students who have received at least 55% in a Master's Degree or equivalent examination from a recognized university are eligible for this test. Candidates from the Other Backward Classes (OBC) belonging to the Non-Creamy Layer/Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST)/Persons with Disability (PwD)/Third Gender category who have obtained at least 50% marks (without rounding off) in a Master's degree or equivalent examination are eligible for this Test.
Age Limit
The student's age must not be over 30 years as of the 1st day of the month the examination is organised, i.e. June 2024. A relaxation of up to 5 years is offered to the students belonging to OBC/SC/ST/PwD/Third gender categories and women candidates.

- On the homepage, click the link "Joint CSIR NET June 2024: Click Here to Register/Login".
- Click the link and navigate to the "New Registration" option.
- A new page for login and identification for online submission of the Application Form will appear on the screen.
- To create a User ID or Password, select the appropriate identity evidence.
- Now, follow the procedures to submit the application form, making sure all of the information is correct and full.
- Pay your registration fee online.
- Download or take a printout of the registration form for further processing.
