RRB Section Controller Admit Card 2026

The Railway Recruitment Board( RRB) has officially released the admit card for the Section Controller Examination 2026. This is big news for thousands of  campaigners who have applied for the Section Controller post under Centralised Employment Notification ( CEN). The admit card is now available for download and this marks an important step in the reclamation process.

What's the RRB Section Controller test 2026? 

The RRB Section Controller test 2026 is a reclamation test conducted by the Railway Recruitment Board to  elect  campaigners for the post of Section Controller in Indian Railways. These  officers play an important part in  functional control of  road services on various sections of the  road network. 

A total of 368 vacancies have been announced across different  road zones in India.

The timeline of the RRB Section Controller selection process has been officially  verified as follows

This timeline is designed to give  campaigners enough time to plan  trip and preperation . The city  intimation slip was released ahead of the admit card so that  campaigners could know their  test city and shift details in advance

How to Download the RRB Section Controller Admit Card 

Downloading the admit card is simple and free. campaigners must follow this way 

Visit the Official RRB Website. Go to the regional RRB portal where you have applied( for  illustration, rrbcdg.gov.in)

Find the Admit Card Link Look for the link that says “ RRB Section Controller Admit Card 2026 ” under CEN 04/2025. 

• Enter Login Details. You'll need your Registration Number and Date of Birth/ word. 
• Click and download. Your admit card will appear on the screen. Download and save it. 
• Print at least two copies of the admit card for  test day and future reference. 

The admit card is important to enter the  test hall. No  seeker will be allowed to take the  test without a  published admit card. 

What Details Are published on the Admit Card? 

Your RRB Section Controller admit card contains important information. Check that all the details are correct 

• Candidates Full Name 
• Registration Number and Roll Number 
• Date of Birth 
• Test Date and Shift 
• Test Centre Name and Full Address

City Intimation Slip – Why It Matters 

Before the admit card, RRB released an test City Intimation Slip on 3 February 2026. This slip told  campaigners 

• Their test City and State 
• Test Date and Shift 
• Reporting Time and Gate Ending Time 

The city slip was only  instructional, not valid for entry into the  test hall. The final admit card contains full  test centre details and must be carried to the venue. 

Test Day Instructions 

To avoid any issues on  test day, follow these clear instructions 

• Carry the printed admit card 
• Bring a valid ID(  similar to Aadhaar Card, Passport, Voter ID, or Driving License) 
• Arrive at the centre at least 60 minutes before reporting time 
• Don't carry mobile phones, calculators, bags, or electronic devices
• Aadhaar- linked biometric verification may be done before entry into the hall 

Campaigners must be prepared with all documents and follow instructions to ensure smooth entry and  test participation. 

Test Pattern 

The Section Controller  test will be conducted as a Computer Based Test( CBT). Though the official full syllabus is  provided in  announcement there are general highlights 

• Duration 120 minutes
• Number of Questions 100 

Subjects include 

• Analytical & Mathematical Capability
• Logical logic 
• Mental Capability 

Negative Marking 1/3 mark will be  subtracted for each wrong answer. 

What Happens Coming After the test? 

After the CBT on 11 & 12 February 2026, RRB will  estimate answer  sheets and release results on  RRB websites. Shortlisted  campaigners will be called for  further stages like Computer Based Aptitude Test( CBAT), Document Verification, and Medical Examination as per rules.
