RRB Junior Engineer JE Admit Card 2026: Release

The release of the admit card marks a big step in the RRB JE 2026  recovery process, which aims to fill the posts for the JE and other technical posts across the colorful railways zones in India. The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has officially released the RRB JE Admit Card 2026 for the First Stage  CBT 1. 

 Important Dates

1. Official Notification Release 18 December, 2025 
2. Start date of Online Application 31 October, 2025 
3. Last Date to Apply 10 December, 2026 
4. Test City Intimation Slip Release 10 February 2026 
5. Admit Card Release 4 days prior to the seeker’s test date 
6. CBT 1 test Dates 19 February, 20 February and 25 February 2026 

The admit cards were released in phases, four days before each listed examination date, as per RRB’s standard practice.

Campaigners are advised to download the admit card only from the official websites of their separate RRB regions. 

How to Download RRB JE Admit Card 2026 

Campaigners can follow these ways to download their hall tickets 

1. Visit the official website of your separate regional Railway Recruitment Board. 
2. Click on the link named “ CEN 05/2025 – Junior Engineer (JE) CBT 1 Admit Card 2026. 
3. Enter your Registration Number and Date of Birth/ word. 
4. Complete the captcha verification. 
5. Click on‘ Submit’ to access the admit card. 
6. Download and publish the admit card. 

It's recommended that  campaigners take at least two clear printouts of the admit card and keep them safe until the completion of the reclamation process.

Important Instructions 

Campaigners must carefully verify all details published on the admit card. In case of any mistake , they should  communicate the concerned regional RRB authority. 

RRB JE 2026 CBT 1 test Pattern 

The First Stage Computer-Based Test (CBT 1) is qualifying in nature. The test structure is as follows 

1. Total Questions 100 
2. Total Marks 100 
3. Test Duration 90 minutes

Type of Questions ideal (Multiple Choice Questions) 

Subject-wise Distribution 

1. Mathematics – 30 questions 
2. General Intelligence & logic –25 questions 
3. General Awareness– 15 questions 
4. General Science – 30 questions 

1/ 3rd mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer. 

Aspirants who qualify for the CBT 1 will be shortlisted for the Alternate Stage CBT (CBT 2). 

 Documents needed at the Examination Centre 

1. Valid  Photo ID  evidence (Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, Passport, PAN Card etc.) 
2. Passport-size photo (if mentioned in instructions) 
3. Electronic devices similar as mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators, Bluetooth, and other communication gadgets are banned inside the test hall. 

RRB may conduct biometric verification at the examination centres to ensure transparency and help impersonation.

Selection Process 

The RRB JE 2026 selection process consists of 

1. First Stage CBT (CBT 1) 
2. Alternate Stage CBT (CBT 2)

4. Medical Examination 

The final merit list will be prepared which is based on the marks obtained in CBT 2, subject to the verification of qualifying documents and the medical fitness norms specified by the Railways. 

Important Guidelines for campaigners 

1.  Reach the test centre at least 60 minutes before of the reporting time. 
2.  Follow all the instructions which is mentioned on the admit card. 
3.  Avoid carrying banned particulars. 
4.  Keep checking the official RRB website for updates regarding answer keys and results. 

What Happens After CBT 1? 

After the completion of CBT 1 (19, 20 and 25 February 2026), RRB will 

1. Release the provisional answer, crucial 
2. Allow campaigners to raise objections within a specified time 
3. Publish the final answer, crucial 
4. Advertise CBT 1 results 
5. Issue the CBT 2 test announcement and admit card
