Railway RRB Group D Online Form 2026: Apply

The reclamation drive, one of the largest in recent years, offers job opportunities for 10th pass and ITI-certified campaigners. The online application window is presently active, and interested  campaigners can apply online until March 2, 2026. 

The Railway Reclamation Boards (RRBs) under the Ministry of Railways, Government of India, have officially opened the RRB Group D Online Form 2026 for 22,195 position- 1 posts across various departments and zones of Indian Railways.

What's RRB Group D Recruitment? 

The RRB Group D Recruitment 2026 is a civil hiring action by the Indian Railways to fill the 22,195 position- 1 post — including positions like Track Maintainer, Helper, Assistant, Pointsman and other Group D posts under the 7th CPC pay of matrix. 

These are central government jobs and are largely sought after, offering stability, benefits and allowances under the Indian Railways' pay structure. 

Eligibility Criteria 

Educational Qualification 

• Minimal 10th pass (Matriculation) from a honored board; OR 
• ITI/ NAC (National Apprenticeship Certificate) from NCVT or original. 

Age Limit 

• Minimal age 18 years
• Maximum age 33 years
• Age is calculated as on January 1, 2026, with relaxed upper age limits for reticent category as per government  morals.

The application fee structure for the RRB Group D 2026 is designed to be inclusive

• General/ EWS/ OBC- NCL ₹ 500 ₹ 400 
• SC ST/ PwBD/ Female/ EBC/ Transgender ₹ 250 

Payment can be made through net banking, debit card/ credit cards, UPI, or other online modes via the official RRB portal. 

Step- by- Step Apply Online Process 

Campaigners must apply only through the official RRB website’s online website— rrbapply.gov.in. Follow these  ways 

• Visit the official website and click on the RRB Group D 2026 announcement. 
• Register with  particular details, name, DOB, mobile, photo. 
• Log in using the generated credentials to fill out the form. 
• Enter qualifications and select favored post zones. 
• Upload Documents, recent photo, signature (as per specifications). 
• Pay the application fee and submit the form. 
• Take printout. Save/ import the final evidence for future reference. 

Aspirants are advised to double- check all entries before final submission, as mistakes may not be corrected later beyond the permitted revision window. 

Selection Process 

The selection for Group D posts involves multiple stages 

• Computer-Based Test (CBT) – ideal test with 100 questions. 
• Physical Efficiency Test (PET) – Qualifying fitness test. 
• Document Verification (DV) – Verification of original certificates. 
• Medical Examination (ME) – Final health check. 
• The CBT date has not been announced yet; it'll be notified soon on the regional RRB websites.

The reclamation covers all the 16 railway zones across India, and vacancies are distributed among regions such as Western Railway, Northern Railway, South Eastern Railway and others.
