CTET Re Test Admit Card 2026 Release

The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is one of India’s most important examinations for future teachers. It's conducted by CBSE for campaigners seeking eligibility to educate primary and upper primary classes across India. 

The CBSE has released the re‑test admit card for CTET 2026 campaigners whose examinations were cancelled at certain centres. This revised admit card is an important document to appear in the forthcoming re‑examination listed for 1 March 2026. 

Why was a Retest and New Admit Card Issued? 

During the original CTET test held on 7 – 8 February 2026, the evaluation and test process went smoothly across most centres. still 

In many test centres in the Vaishali quarter of Bihar, the test was cancelled due to technical and executive issues. 

To ensure fairness and equal opportunity for all campaigners, CBSE decided to conduct a re ‑examination for only those affected campaigners.

Campaigners who are reappearing must download the revised admit card from the official CTET website ctet.nic.in. 

Steps to download 

• Visit ctet.nic.in. 
• Go to the “ Admit Card ” or “ seeker exertion ” section. 
• Click the link for the CTET Feb ‑2026 Admit Card or re‑test hall ticket. 
• Enter your application Number and Date of Birth. 
• Break the Captcha and submit. 

Your admit card will display — download &  publish multiple copies. 

What’s on the Re‑test Admit Card? 

The streamlined admit card contains 

• Seeker’s Name, Roll Number & Photograph 
• Test Date & Time (1 March 2026) 
• Test Centre Address(streamlined for re‑test) 
• Reporting Time & Shift Details 
• Important Instructions for the test day

Guidelines for Re‑test Day 

• Campaigners must keep the following in mind for the re‑test 
• Carry the admit card and a valid ID (Aadhaar, Voter ID, etc.). 
• Reach the centre well before reporting time. 
• No electronic particulars, calculators, or smart devices are allowed inside the test hall. 
• Read all instructions carefully published on the admit card. 

After the test — What’s Next? 

• Once the CTET re‑test is held on 1 March, CBSE will take a short time to release the provisional answer key and OMR response sheets.
• The answer key is expected to be published in the first or alternate week of March 2026. 
• Applicants will get a window to raise objections if they believe any answer in the key is incorrect. 
• After addressing the objections, CBSE will release the final answer key and affect.
