UP Police SI, ASI Steno Test Admit Card 2026: Release

This announcement serves as a relief for thousands of campaigners who have been preparing for the skill/ stenography test in the UP Police recruitment cycle.

The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board( UPPRPB) has officially released the UP Police SI and ASI Steno Test Admit Card 2026, marking a important phase in one of the state’s most competitive recruitment drives this year.

The admit card has been made available for the download on the UPPRPB portal. Aspirants are needed to log in with their application credentials, specifically their application number and date of birth, to access their individual hall tickets.

Campaigners can follow the simple way below to get their admit card 

• Visit the official UPPRPB website at uppbpb.gov.in. 
• On the homepage, detect the “ Latest News ” or “ Admit Card ” section. 
• Click the link named “ UP Police SI ASI Recap Admit Card 2026 ”. 
• Enter your Registration/ Application Number and Date of Birth. 
• Complete the Captcha Code verification and submit. 

The admit card PDF will appear — download and publish it. 

Campaigners are advised to take at least two published copies of the admit card for security and verification at the test hall.

Reporting instructions and other guidelines

Mandatory Documents to Carry on test Day 

Along with the published admit card, campaigners must bring one original print ID to the examination center,  similar to

Also, it’s advised to carry recent passport- size photos( identical to those uploaded during application) for verification. Failure to present the admit card and valid ID will result in disqualification from appearing in the test.

Report to the test center at least 45 – 60 minutes before the listed reporting time. 

Note : The entry to the examination hall closes 30 minutes before the start of the test. 

Ensure the published admit card copy is clear with a clear photo.

What’s Next After the Steno/ Transcription Test? 

Following the stenography / transcription test on the 28 February 2026, the UPPRPB will estimate candidates performance to shortlist qualifying campaigners for further stages.
