NIET Admissions Process
The online registration form releases in the month of January till May. After gathering all the information regarding the courses and the eligibility criteria, the candidates can move forward to fill the application form. NIET follows these guidelines for admission:-
- Through UPSEE Counselling – Students need to appear the UPSEE exam and score a valid number to get admission in their desired subject.
- By Direct Admission – It depends on these steps: Objective Type Aptitude, Objective Math Test (for those opting BioTech branch, they won’t appear the Maths Exam) and Personal Interview.
- Management Quota/ NRI – 15% of approved seats intake will be refilled bounded by the Management Quota as there is a sprint for this program. They first need to register themselves under this category.
 Admission is basically done on the basis of academic performances and score in the relevant stream. Applicants need to carry the original and the photocopy of their endorsement. Documents required are:Â
- Gap year proof (if any)
- Entrance Exam proof
- 10th and 12th Mark Sheets
- Aadhar Card
- Minimum 5 passport sized recent photographs
- Graduation Certificates (required for PG courses)
