Banaras Hindu University: The task force’s members, who were chosen from a variety of institutes, faculties, and centers, will aid in bridging the communication gap between the Central Admission Committee and each institute or faculty.

To enhance the admission process for the upcoming academic year of 2023-24, Banaras Hindu University has constituted a task force under the leadership of Vice-Chancellor Prof. Sudhir Kumar Jain. The objective of the task force is to offer assistance to the Central Admission Committee in ensuring the seamless execution of the admission process.

The members of the task force come from diverse backgrounds, including different Institutes, Faculties, and Centers, enabling them to bridge any gaps between the Central Admission Committee and the Institute or Faculty concerned. Through targeted efforts, the task force strives to establish a smooth admission process, thereby facilitating a hassle-free experience for the applicants. Additionally, the task force members are expected to extend their support to the Central Committee in designing a uniform admission process for post-graduate admissions.

The admission process for Banaras Hindu University (BHU) is facilitated through the Undergraduate Combined Entrance Test (CUET UG). BHU garnered the second-largest number of applications through CUET UG in the previous year. The current cycle, CUET UG 2023, began on May 21 and will continue until June 7. A noteworthy 14, 99, 778 students have registered for CUET UG 2023.
