TANCET Exam 2023: Check all Important Dates
TANCET (Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test) is a state-level exam which will be organized by Anna University, Every year. After clearing the TANCET exam applicants will be able to get admission into various courses such as MBA, ME, M.Tech, M. Arch, M. Plan, and many more courses.
The exam TANCET will be conducted by Anna University on behalf of DTE Chennai. Every year, the authority conducted this exam to offer admission in Master’s level courses in Government- aided Institutes, Self- financed Colleges of Chennai, Annamalai University, as well as Anna University.
TANCET Exam Dates 2023:
The authority has released TANCET Exam 2022 dates for all courses, such as the MCA exam will be held on 25, February 2023 between 10 Am to 12 Pm.
For M. Tech/ ME/ M. Arch and M Plan the exam will be conducted also on 25, February 2023 between 2:30 Pm to 4:30 Pm. Whereas for the MBA program the exam will be conducted on 26, February 2023 from 10 Am to 12 Pm (Sunday).
Last year, there were 100 questions available in the question paper for MBA and MCA courses. While there were three sections in the question paper Part 1 comprised 20 questions, Part 2 comprising of 35 questions while Part 3 comprising of 60 questions for M. Arch, M Plan, and M. Tech courses.
The rank list for the TANCET exam 2022 was released on 26 August 2022. Applicants should check the available list on the website. For M Plan, M. Tech, and M. Arch courses the exam was conducted on 14 and 15 May between 10 Am to 12 Pm.
Anna University has not announced the registration dates. Applicants are advised to keep their eyes on the website, to know the registration dates, application form, fees, etc. Detailed Information such as the application form, eligibility criteria, and fees will be soon released by Anna University.

Eligibility Criteria for TANCET Exam 2023:
- For MBA courses- Aspirants must need to hold at least a bachelor’s degree with 50% aggregate marks for general categories and required 45% marks for reserved category candidates
- For M. Tech/ ME Programs- Applicants who have B. Tech or BE degree from the recognized university with at least 50% marks (for reserved categories applicants required 45% marks)
- For MCA Program- Aspirants must need to hold at least a bachelor’s degree with 50% aggregate marks for general categories and required 45% marks for reserved category candidates
- For M. Plan/ M. Arch Program- Applicants should have a B. Plan or B. Tech degree from the recognized university with at least 50% of aggregate marks (required 45% marks for reserved category applicants)
