NEET 2021: MCC Counseling Schedule, Registration Process

NEET UG Counseling 2021: NEET 2021 counseling will be conducted for those students who want to get admission in MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, BVSC and AHA and B.Sc Nursing programs in all medical colleges/universities in India.
The counseling schedule of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is to be released soon by the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS). Candidates can be allowed to register online on the official portal of NEET.
Selected candidates will also get priority to choose their preferred institutes during counselling. Apart from this, it is expected that the results for the first round of seat allotment will be released between 20 November 2021 and 25 November 2021. Candidates will get complete information about it on the official website mcc.nic.in.
Counseling Procedure for NEET Counseling 2021
- Candidates will have to register online on the official website
- Once the candidates have successfully registered and deposited the fee, ID and Password will be issued to the registered email ID and phone number of the candidate.
- Candidates will now have to use their credentials to log in and fill the choices of courses and colleges in the order of preference.
- Once cross-check all the information and save it.
Once the candidates complete the selection process in the online NEET 2021 counselling, they have to visit the designated college for document verification and seat allotment. All the candidates must note that if they fail to report to their college by the allotted time limit then their seat and application will be cancelled.

Eligibility Criteria
The NEET eligibility requirements are distinct for the test and admissions to MBBS, BDS, and other medical programmes. Before applying for NEET 2021, please review the qualifying requirements listed below:
- 12th with PCB or similar with required percentage.
- NEET 2021 has no upper age restriction. However, lower age limit is 17 years.
- There are no limits to the number of attempts permitted for this exam
- Nationality includes Nationals of India, Non-Resident Indians, PIO (Permanent Residents), OCI (Overseas Citizens), and Foreign Nationals.
- Details of the qualifying exam are necessary for NEET Class 12 or equivalent with PCB.
- Students in their final year of high school from recognised boards such as NIOS and open schools
- Biology as an elective is allowed.
