NEET 2021 Important Dates and Result Announced

NEET or the National Eligibility Cumulative Entrance Test was previously known as the All-India Pre-Medical Test. It is a national pre-medical entrance exam for students wishing to pursue UG BDS, MBBS, and AYUSH (BUMS, BAMS, BHMS, etc.) courses in government and private institutions in India. Also, for those wishing to pursue primary medical qualification abroad. This exam is administered by NTA (the National Testing Agency). NEET-UG became the single entrance test for admissions to medical institutions in India, including AIIMS and JIPMER, following the passing of the NMC Act 2019 in September 2019. This entrance exam includes 66,000 MBBS and BDS seats across India.
As per the latest updates, the NEET registration rectification window has been extended till October 13. All of the information on the NEET 2021 application form phase 2 can be changed. Only category, and subcategory, email address, gender, country, could be changed on the phase 1 NEET registration form.

Eligibility Criteria
The NEET eligibility requirements are distinct for the test and admissions to MBBS, BDS, and other medical programmes. Before applying for NEET 2021, please review the qualifying requirements listed below:
- 12th with PCB or similar with required percentage.
- NEET 2021 has no upper age restriction. However, lower age limit is 17 years.
- There are no limits to the number of attempts permitted for this exam
- Nationality includes Nationals of India, Non-Resident Indians, PIO (Permanent Residents), OCI (Overseas Citizens), and Foreign Nationals.
- Details of the qualifying exam are necessary for NEET Class 12 or equivalent with PCB.
- Students in their final year of high school from recognised boards such as NIOS and open schools
- Biology as an elective is allowed.
NEET 2021 Result
The NEET result will be announced on its official website. Candidates must download and maintain a copy of their NEET 2021 result scorecard / rank card in order to get admitted.
NEET Scorecard 2021: The score card includes Personal information like roll number, application number, name, mother’s and father’s names, etc. Total subject-wise and overall percentile score earned by the applicant.

Counselling Mode for NEET 2021
Counselling would be in online and offline mode both. Candidates must apply for counselling in accordance with their eligibility. It is crucial to remember that all applicants who pass NEET 2021 will be eligible to register for All India Counselling. Admissions will, however, be dependent on characteristics such as domicile, residency in the state, and so on for the different state counselling processes.

MCC will begin online registrations for the NEET 2021 counselling phase, followed by the choice filling and locking procedure. Candidates who have been assigned seats in the NEET UG 2021 counselling must report to their assigned college within a specific time frame. NEET seat assignment will be based on the applicants’ All India Rank, choice of institutions entered, seat availability, reservation criteria, etc.
