NEET 2021, 11 New Medical College & 1650 MBBS Seats Increase

Every year lots of students aims to get admission in Medical Institutes by giving NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test). But many students failed to get admission due to lack of MBBS seats or medical colleges in the state.
But now no worries, A Good News! For all the students who are preparing for the NEET 2021, because in India the number of MBBS seats are going to increase. Total 11 new medical colleges are going to open in the state – Punjab, Rajasthan, and Tamil Nadu. With the new Medical Institutes opened, approx. 1,650 new MBBS seats will also get increased.
M Subramanian – Health Minister of Tamil Nadu said that the NMC (National Medical Commission) has started the monitoring and evaluation of new medical colleges. Out of 11 new medical colleges’s inspection of 4 new medical colleges have been done. And it is expected that the monitoring and inspection of the remaining colleges will get completed in the next few days.

The main mission is to increase the number of medical colleges in India. National Mission of the Central Government have given approval to these 11 new medical colleges in Tamil Nadu.
After the completion of monitoring and inspection National Medical Commission (NMC) will give license and recognition to these colleges. There will be at least 1 medical institute in every district of Tamil Nadu. With the opening of these 11 new colleges, there will be approx. of 5,200 MBBS seats in Tamil Nadu. Most of these institutes will have over 700 beds each.
The NMC inspects and monitors the physiology, anatomy, biochemistry lab, general ward of the hospital, total number of skilled doctors, lecturer/ professors, and so on.
