The admission process for the new session will start on the 28th of July 2021 at Nalanda Open University. The university has started all the preparations for enrollment. Enrollment will be taken place from intermediate to PG courses.

On the behalf of University, enrollment is to be taken in 105 courses. In enrollment, the special exemption in fees will also be given to girls. Mr. R. K. Verma, who is Registrar of University, informed that the process of enrollment this time will be started from 28th of July 2021. According to the reports, in the year 2018, 40,000 to 45,000 candidates were registered in Nalanda University but in the year 2020, 18000 to 19000 candidates were registered. The students who took admission in 2019 in many courses, the results of those students have not been released yet.

For the easy availability of the teaching material to the students at the time of enrollment, many efforts are being made. Side by side the date for the examination will be announced soon. The authority will try to organize the examination as scheduled.

Initially, the books have been printed by the University. But there are still some books which are not available, they have been ordered for printing and will be available soon. The Registrar has given the information that the nomination process will be done in a single-window system.

The procedure will be conducted in one location only. The information related to the enrollment will be provided by the authorities soon on the official website of the university. Recently the pace of the work has slowed down due to the covid situation. The authority is looking forward to the conduction of examination as soon as the pandemic situation improves.

The notification about Online Admission Form 2021-22 of UG & PG (1st, 2nd, & 3rd Year) of Nalanda Open University (NOU) has been announced on the official website.  It is required for all the candidates to apply before the last date of filing the application form. Candidates can register via online mode only.

For the UG admission form, the candidates should have passed the intermediate with good scores from any recognized board or university as well as for the PG admission form. It is required to have a UG degree from any recognized university.

The fee for the application form of all the categorized candidates will be announced soon. Some of the important documents that are required for admission are the 12th mark sheet/certificate, cast certificate, photographs in a given manner, signature, valid e-mail address, etc.

Apart from this, the date for the registration of categorized students (private or regular) has been extended one more time by BSEB (Bihar School Examination Centre). This date is about to appear the categorized students (private or regular) in Bihar Board Matric and Intermediate Exam 2022. The students who are interested participate in the 10th or 12th exam 2022 (Bihar Board) can register now from the 25th of July 2021. Before this extended date, a chance for registration was given to students from the 9th of July to 15th of July.  As per the guideline for the registration in the 10th examination (2022) the fee is Rs.320/- per regular student and for the registration in the 12th examination (2022) the fee is Rs.470/- per regular student as well as Rs.870/- for private students.
