JEE Main 2023 Answer Key | Check Expected Cut-off Score

On April 15th, the National Testing Agency (NTA) successfully conducted the second session of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2023. The preliminary answer key for the JEE Main exam should be available soon. After then, candidates will have a chance to contest the answer keys. In addition, they will be required to pay processing fees of Rs 200 for each contested question. NTA will compile the JEE Main 2023 result based on the answer key.
According to the schedule, students took part in the Joint Entrance Examination Main 2023 session 2 tests from April 6 to April 15. It was held for papers 1 (BE, BTech), 2A (BArch), and 2B (BPlanning). Every correct response will receive four points under the JEE Main scoring system, whereas every incorrect response will receive one point less.
The qualifying cut-off for the Joint Entrance Examination Main for students in the General category will be between 88 and 80, according to Ramesh Batlish, a Forum for Indian Institute of Technology Joint Entrance Examination (FIITJEE) expert. Some other authorities, like Nitin Arora, Assistant Director Academics ENGG, and Aakash BYJU’S Live, have also looked at the cut-off to achieve 90-92 in the general category.
In contrast, the cut-off for pupils in the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) group is set at 63–68, whereas for those in the OBC–NCL category, it is 66–70. The projected cut-off for candidates in the Scheduled Caste (CS) category is 42–48, while for candidates in the Scheduled Tribes (ST) category, it may be 25–27.
Arora anticipates the cut-off will be as high as 30-33. The JEE Advanced 2023 exam will be open to candidates who pass the JEE Main 2023 exam. It will happen on June 4 according to the schedule. JEE Main 2023’s first session took place from January 24th to February 1st, with results being announced on February 6th.
