JEE Advanced 2023 Registration Date, Eligibility, Tie-breaking Policy

JEE Advanced 2023: The computer-based test method for JEE Advanced will be administered by IIT Guwahati on June 4, 2023. On April 30, registration for JEE Advanced 2023 will open. The deadline for applications is May 4. There will be two shifts for JEE Advanced. From 9 am to 12 pm, the first paper of the exam will be given. How does JEE Advanced 2023 work?
The only entrance exam that allows for admission to IIT’s undergraduate programs leading to a bachelor’s degree, an integrated master’s degree, or a Bachelor-Master Dual Degree in Engineering, Science, or Architecture is JEE Advanced. To join the ranks of IIT alumni, aspirants must also pass Joint Entrance Examination – Advanced, a nationwide exam, in addition to JEE Main. Almost 2.5 lacks of the best JEE Main applicants each year are given a seat for this entrance exam. What rules apply when there are ties? What is Tie Breaking Policy?
The following tie-break policy will be utilized to determine ranks if the JEE Advanced 2023 aggregate marks of two or more candidates are the same.
Step 1: Applicants that receive more favorable evaluations will be ranked higher. Step 2 will then apply the next criterion if Step 1’s tie-breaking criteria are unsuccessful in severing the tie.
Step 2: A higher rank will be given to the applicant who received a higher score in mathematics. The applicant who scored higher in Physics will be given a higher rank if this is unable to break the tie. Even after this, applicants will be given the same rank if there is a tie.
