IGNOU (Indira Gandhi National Open University) has launched the Online MA (Master of Arts) English or MEGOL course via online mode on 31^st January, 2022 (Monday). If you have done a Bachelor’s Degree or a higher degree from a recognized university is eligible to apply for this Online MA English course.

IGNOU released that – “The learners would develop an understanding of English and other literatures of their choice in their proper historio-critical perspectives. A good knowledge of reading, comprehension and writing skills would be a prerequisite for this program. It will also allow the learners to specialize in areas of their choice given the modular nature of the program.”

IGNOU has launched this Online MA Course with the aim to offer prospective candidates who are able to pursue Master Degree in English language from the comfort of completing the courses in their own time.

IGNOU Online MA Eligibility Criteria: To apply for this Online MA program you must have done Bachelor’s Degree or a higher degree with minimum 50% aggregate Marks and 45% aggregate Marks for Reserved Category (SC/ST/OBC) candidates.

IGNOU Online MA Course Duration: The minimum duration of the online MA English course offered by IGNOU is 2 Years and maximum duration goes up to 4 Years.

IGNOU Online MA Fees:  The full fee for the IGNOU Online MA course is Rs. 13,600/- for full program, IGNOU Online MA English registration fee is Rs. 200/-.
