IGNOU Launches Alumni Portal and Facebook Page for Alumni | Check Details
IGNOU (Indira Gandhi National Open University) has launched an alumni portal and a Facebook page for its alumni. IGNOU has been shared an information regarding this by tweeting from the official Twitter handle.To register on the alumni portal, one has to enter his/her enrollment details such as college, department, name, program, year of passing, enrollment number, contact details and mail ID.
According to the reports, Vice Chancellor Nageshwar Rao, IGNOU – on the launch of the alumni portal and Facebook page said that both these initiatives will be very helpful in connecting the alumni on a common platform.
Director, Campus Placement Cell – Dr VP Rupam informed that while the Facebook page will help in bringing the alumni on a common platform and also helps in the exchange of ideas and experiences, the Alumni Portal will provide an updated database of registered alumni. This will help in enhancing their engagement with the University.
On the other hand, the re-registration window for July 2021 session is to be closed by Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) on 31st August, 2021. In such a situation, the candidates who have not registered till now should not delay for a moment now. For re-registration, candidates need to visit the official website of IGNOU.
