IGNOU has launched BA in Applied Sanskrit; check eligibility

The faculty of Humanities at IGNOU offers a BA program in applied Sanskrit through Open Distance Learning (ODL). The official website for applications is ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in.

A new BA program in practical Sanskrit has been introduced by the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU). The undergraduate program will be taught in Hindi over the course of three years. The program’s application form is available on the program’s official website, ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in.

The student must have successfully finished Class 12 from a recognized educational (state or national) board in order to be eligible to apply for the course.

How to apply for a BA Applied for the Sanskrit course at IGNOU

Step 1: Go to ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in, the official website.
Step 2: Registered users can log in by entering the necessary information. Users must register if they are new.
Step 3: Provide the essential personal information and educational background.
Step 4: Upload all the needed files and make the application fee payment.
Step 5: Submit the form. Save and download it for future reference.

In addition to other fees including the registration cost and development fees, accepted students are required to pay a tuition fee of Rs. 4500 every year.

In the Open Distance Learning (ODL) mode, IGNOU has introduced a new BA program in Gender Studies (BAGS). The annual tuition fee for the course is Rs. 4000.
