IGNOU Extends The January 2023 Deadline For New Admissions And Re-registration
To apply for all programs excluding certificate courses and semester-based courses, candidates can visit ignou.ac.in for IGNOU Admission 2023.
New Delhi: The deadline for fresh and re-registration for the January 2023 session has been extended by the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) until March 31, and candidates can apply for online and online distance learning (ODL) courses by visiting the official website at ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in.
Previously, the deadline to apply was March 27; however, the extension has been granted for all programs except certificate and semester-based programs, which closed on March 20.
According to the official Twitter handle of IGNOU, “The last date for fresh admission and re-registration for the January 2023 cycle has been extended until March 31, 2023, for all programs, except certificate and semester-based programs, in both online and ODL modes. ODL application link: https://ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in. Online application link: https://ignouiop.samarth.edu.in. Re-registration link: https://onlinerr.ignou.ac.in.”
Steps To Apply For the IGNOU Admission 2203 - Fresh Admission
- Navigate to IGNOU’s official website at ignou.ac.in.
- Fill in all the necessary registration details.
- Choose a unique “Username” and “Password”.
- Click on the “Submit” button after entering all the mandatory information.
- Your login details will be sent to the email ID and phone number provided during registration. Use these instead log in to your account.
- Fill in all the required details and select the desired program.
- Submit the registration form after completing all the steps.

- Digital copy of the passport-sized photograph
- An electronic copy of the signature
- Photocopy of age verification document
- Relevant certificates for educational qualifications
- Certificate of work experience (if applicable)
- BPL certificate (if from a below-poverty-line household)
