GATE 2023 Economics (Air 5) Prefers Admission To JNU Or Delhi School Of Economics Over IIT

GATE 2023 Results: Dhruv Gupta, a final-year Economics (Hons) student at DCAC College, Delhi University, received a score of 78.67 out of 100, good enough for fifth place overall in the economics category.
Despite earning a respectable rank, Dhruv is adamant that he will not enroll in any IIT to further his education. His preferred goal is to pass the post-graduate entrance exam at JNU or DU. I entered GATE purely for practice. The Delhi School of Economics or JNU are the two schools I want to attend in order to get a master’s degree, Gupta added.
The 20-year-old added about his preparation, “I did not join any tutoring but borrowed material from my pals enrolled in different institutions. Due to DU’s excellent course design, I primarily stuck to my graduation textbooks. I didn’t choose high-level standard books; instead, I paid close attention to last year’s tests, gained a thorough understanding of what these exams genuinely require, and improved those particular topics using online resources like Google and YouTube, said Gupta.
After completing his post-graduate studies, the young man from Haryana plans to pass the Indian Economics Service test. “My father instilled the desire to become an IAS officer in my heart from an early age. By the time I graduated, I was more knowledgeable about the civil service and had learned about IES.
