At 9:00 am on May 4, 2023, the first shift of the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT 2023) began. The examination will last three hours, from noon until 1:00.

The Common Management Admission Test (CMAT 2023) is administered by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for participants in participating colleges that are accredited with the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and seeking admission to MBA degrees. On May 1, candidates could access the CMAT 2023 admission card by downloading it at cmat.nta.nic.in.

The CMAT exam is scheduled for 2023 to evaluate applicants’ knowledge of topics like quantitative methods, logical thinking, language comprehension, general awareness, and innovation and entrepreneurship. Entry into the exam center will not be permitted unless the candidate has their CMAT hall ticket on them.

The five portions of the CMAT’s question paper, which is a computer-based test (CBT), each contain 20 questions. Out of 400 total points, the CMAT scores will be determined. Each correct answer receives four points, while each erroneous response receives one point less.

The results of the CMAT will be announced by the NTA in 2023. The participating MBA colleges will publish their individual CMAT cut-offs after the results are made public.

The selection and counseling processes for admission must be completed by candidates who meet the institution’s cut-off criteria. Discussions in groups and individual interviews will serve as the basis for the decision.
