According to the skills assessment, India will be employed most frequently in the automotive, engineering, and internet sectors. For the demand prediction for 2023, companies all throughout India indicate a hiring intent of 36.08 percent.

The Wheebox India Skills Report 2023 predicts that BCom and MBA programs would be the most popular in 2023, with 60.62 and 60.1% of their graduates being highly employable. Additionally, applicants in the BE/BTech domain are the third most employable in the category of employability according to a domain, with a 57.44 percent employability rate.

The survey predicts that India would hire the most people in the automotive, engineering, and internet industries. For the demand predicted for 2023, companies all over India indicate a hiring intent of 36.08 percent.

The BFSI, pharmaceutical, e-commerce, and IT/ITES industries, in addition to others, are driving the demand for skilled labor in the skills market, the survey claims. By 2023 compared to 2022, there will be a 20% rise in the hiring of new graduates in these disciplines.

In order to boost the number of women working in both the public and private sectors, the report asserts that India has to make more policy changes. In India, female labor force participation is currently 33%, whereas male labor force participation is 67%. Furthermore, women are around 5.6% more employable than men in terms of talent.

It’s interesting to note that Rajasthan had the highest rate of employable females who were ready for the workforce (53.56%), while Uttar Pradesh came in second with 46.51%. Candidates from Delhi, Maharashtra, and Uttar Pradesh had the highest employability overall, according to the poll.
