CBSE 12th Result 2021: Important Notice regarding Results for Absent Students

The evaluation work is going on in schools under the evaluation policy issued by the Central Board of Secondary Education to prepare the results of class 12th. During this, the schools are facing many problems. Now the board has issued guidelines to the schools regarding the absent students. The board has made it clear to the schools that if any student is absent during the evaluation, their result will not be released. Instead of giving marks to such students, they should be shown absenteeism.
CBSE has made it clear to the schools that instead of giving zero marks to such students, they should be marked as absent. CBSE is getting information from the schools that some students were studying in the school at the time of submission of List of Candidates (LOC). But now the student has taken TC (Transfer Certificate). Or he/she is not part of the school due to any other reason (death or name struck off). Due to this reason the test result is not available for calculation.
In that case, CBSE Board said that such students should be marked absent. It may be noted that the data of these students cannot be presented by giving them zero marks or by mentioning anything else next to their names. Along with this, the board has instructed the schools that only the best three subjects of class 11 will have to be evaluated.
With regard to the change of subject, the board has asked the schools that they have to ensure that prior approval of CBSE is taken for the same. Now no changes will be accepted. It is noteworthy that the board has to declare the 12th result on 31st July, 2021.
