Know the rules

  • If you are taking admission in other branches then you have to re-study those parts of the syllabus, which you have already studied during the program of the first branch.
  • You have to take admission in any university or institute as a regular student during lateral entry, because this requires more practical knowledge.
  • Apart from this, AICTE has also extended the time duration of additional degree program from 2 years to 3 years now. AICTE also says that the time duration of additional degree program has been extended so that it will not affect the main stream or field.
  • It has been instructions to all affiliated institutions by the AICTE to make required changes in the program structure and set rules with this announcement. Along with this, aspirants doing B.Tech have to take necessary steps for getting admission in additional programs
