GATE 2021: COAP Counselling Started, Admission Score Card and Cut Off

GATE COAP 2021 – The authorities are conducting GATE 2021 COAP counselling & seat allotment round 2 from June 4 to 6. GATE 2021 COAP is the centralised counselling process done for admission into PG Engineering programs in all participating IITs and ISC Bangalore. The IIT Bombay is the conducting GATE 2021. The exam is a gateway to get admission in Master’s programs & direct doctoral programs in Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture & Doctoral programs in related branches of Science. What is COAP
Common Offer Acceptance Portal, commonly known as COAP is a portal where all the participating IITs and ISc Bangalore publish the result of seat allotment. For admission in M.Tech courses in any of the participating IITs or ISC Bangalore, students having a valid GATE score are required to register online at the COAP portal along with the institute. Admission in M.Tech courses at NITs & GFTIs is through the CCMT portal. Using the COAP portal, students will have to check their seat allotment status & accept/ reject the seat.

GATE COAP 2021 Registration
Aspirants looking for admission should get themselves registered on the GATE COAP 2021 portal. GATE COAP application form 2021 closed now. Aspirants can ensure the detailed procedure to fill GATE COAP 2021 application form for reference purposes.
GATE COAP Registration Process
- In the first step, candidates will have to register online by providing the basic candidate details & GATE qualification.
- Upon successful registration, candidates will get their login information in email & password details in mobile phone.
- Login using the login ID & password and verify the details entered while registering.
- In the next step, apply to the institutes in which admission is desired from the institute official website.
- After seat allotment round, check the allotment status.
Documents Required for Counselling:
Applicants will be required to bring the following documents for the document verification process during reporting at RC:
- Provisional seat allotment letter.
- Self-Attested Copy of GATE Score Card (2019 or 2020 or 2021)
- Photo ID proof.
- Original Birth certificate issued by competent authority/Class X (High School) Board Certificate as proof of date of birth.
- Class 12 marks sheet.
- Marks sheet of qualifying examination (all semesters).
- Degree/Provisional Certificate
- Category certificate (if applicable).
- Three Passport size coloured photograph.
- Seat acceptance fee proof.
- Printout of the Registration form & locked choices.
- Migration Certificate
- Transfer Certificate
- Original Conduct Certificate from the Head of the institution last attended.
- An original Course completion certificate from the Head of the University/Institute in case the result is awaited.
- One set of self-attested photocopy of all the original documents
GATE 2021 Cut Off
Gate 2021 Cut off has been released on 20th March 2021. It is made available through online mode. Below, students can check the expected cut off for GATE 2021 entrance examination. After released by the official authority we will update the actual cut off marks.

GATE 2021 Result
A GATE result has been released by the official authority on 20th March 2021. It is made available on the GATE 2021 official website.
Students can get the result by entering their login details. It shows the qualifying status of the student. It is mandatory to keep the result till the admission process gets over.
GATE 2021 Score Card
The GATE scorecard shows the relative performance of the candidate in a specific subject. It is valid for 3years from the date of announcement of the results.
The GATE 2021 scorecards can be downloaded from 27th March 2021.
The GATE scorecard is printed with the photograph that the candidate has given at the time of filling the application form. GATE qualified candidates have to pay a fee of Rs. 500 those want to receive a soft copy of his/her GATE Scorecard after the last week of May 2021.
GATE 2021 Counselling
The Centralized Counseling for M.Tech./M.Arch/M.Plan will be organized by the CCMT 2021. The admission will be offered based on the student’s GATE score of years 2019, 2020 & 2021, in all universities & colleges.
To participate in GATE counselling, students have to pay the counselling registration fee. The process for centralized admission to postgraduate programs has been started via COAP.
The counselling process is comprised of three stages that are online Registration, Choice Filling & Locking of Choices, Online Seat Allotment, Seat Acceptance fee deposit & Physical Reporting at a Reporting Center (RC), and Getting Admitted to Allotted Institute.
