B.Tech. Admission 2021: Top Private Colleges
B.Tech. is one of the most favored engineering programs in India. The full form of B.Tech. is Bachelor of Technology. It is a three to four years full-time program that is totally depending on the college and the country. Each year of B.Tech. the degree has two years. For those candidates who are interested in the technology and development field and want to enhance their technical skills then this engineering program is designed for them. The candidates who have finished their UG Courses (Undergraduate Courses) are awarded by this engineering degree.

Eligibility For B.Tech Admission
Qualification:In B.Tech. Engineering courses, it is necessary for the candidates to qualify for the 10+2th examination (from the science stream from any board). It is required for all the candidates having physics, chemistry, and mathematics (PCM) as the main subjects if they want to take admission in B.Tech. Engineering program.
There is another way to get into B.Tech. program i.e. lateral entry scheme. According to this scheme, if any student wants to take admission into B.Tech. Engineering program, then he or she must be having a diploma (3years) in the engineering domain. With the help of this diploma, any student can get direct admission in the second year of B.Tech. program.
In short, the conclusion is that any student either must have the PCM (Physics, Chemistry and, Mathematics) subjects as the main subjects in 12th or they have three-year diploma certificate in any engineering field to get the admission in 2nd year of B.Tech. directly.
Marks requirement (min.): The candidates should have a secure minimum of 50% to 70% aggregate marks in the 10+2th examination (varies institute to institute).
Limitation of age (max.): There may be a limitation of age in some of the colleges. The maximum age for the candidates should be 24 years counted from the exam date.
Procedure Of Admission in B.Tech
The admissions in B.Tech. Engineering Programs are placed on the basis of entrance examinations. Admission to colleges that are centrally funded is done on the basis of the JEE-Main and the JEE-Advance entrance exams. Admission to state colleges is placed on the basis of regional/state level entrance exams. Some private Universities conduct their personal level entry exam like – SRMJEE, VITEEE, etc.
Syllabus For B.Tech
In B.Tech. engineering course, all the subjects may vary from one specialization to another specialization but for all the specializations of B.Tech. there is a common subject that is Engineering Mathematics. However, Physics and Mathematics are the basic concepts for all the streams. For example- some subjects are common for both Electrical Engineering as well as Electronics and Communication Engineering.
The Engineering industry provides many different horizons for the students according to their interests. Due to the high demand for B.Tech. in the Engineering domain, students can get an excellent opportunity in the private sector as well as govt sector. Some popular job profiles are given below:
- In CS (Computer Science and Engineering):- Professor / R&D Application Engineer/ computer programmer etc.
- In IT (Information Technology):- Database Manager / Lecturer etc.
- In Electronics and Communication Engineering:- Test Technician / Field Technician etc.
- In Architecture Engineering:- Building Inspector / Technical Architect etc.
