What is UPCET Exam?
UPCET (Uttar Pradesh Common Entrance Test) is a state level entrance examination which was earlier known by the name UPSEE (Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination). This Examination was organized by NTA (National Testing Agency) to give admission in UG and PG programms offered by AKTU (Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University) and MMMUT (Madan Mohan Malviya University of Technology), Gorakhpur. The UPSEE (UPCET) exam was organized in various slots as there are numerous programms that candidates can apply for.
Programms that are offered under UPSEE (UPCET) exam at Undergraduate and Postgraduate level are given below:-

UPCET Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must have cleared class 10th and 12th from any institution located in Uttar Pradesh or their parents are Domicile of Uttar Pradesh.
- NRI, PIO, Foreign Nationals, Children of Indian Workers in Gulf Countries & Kashmiri Migrants Candidates and Indian National candidates are also eligible to apply.

B.Tech (BT) | Candidates must have cleared class 12th from any recognized board with Physics & Mathematics/ Biology as compulsory subject. |
B.Tech (AG) | Candidates must have cleared class 12th from any recognized board with Physics/ Agriculture Physics & Chemistry as compulsory subject. |
BBA | Candidates must have cleared class 10th and 12th with minimum 55% aggregate (50% aggregate for SC, ST category candidates) from any recognized board |
B.Pharma | Candidates must have cleared class 12th from any recognized board with Physics and Chemistry with minimum 55% aggregate (50% aggregate for SC, ST category candidates) from any recognized board |
BHMCT/BFAD/BFA/ MBA(Integrated) | Candidates must have cleared class 12th in any stream with minimum 45% aggregate (40% aggregate for SC, ST category candidates) from any recognized board |
MBA/MCA | Candidates must have done graduation in any stream with minimum 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for SC, ST category candidates) |

UPCET Registration
You can register easily for the UPSEE (UPCET) exam through given below steps:-
- Firstly go to the official website – https://upcet.nta.nic.in
- Now to the link on the down left corner – UPCET for UG/UPCET for PG
- Click on the “New Registration” tab
- You will be redirected to a new page
- Read all the instructions carefully by downloading Information Bulletin
- After that tick mark the declaration at the end of the page and select the option “Click here to proceed”
- Now the registration form will appear, fill in all the details in the given space
- After completing the form recheck all the details and click on submit
- After the submitting the registration form, an registration number will appear with the password
UPCET Application Fee:
UPSEE (UPCET) Registration Fee
- For General/OBC – Male/Transgender candidates the registration fee is Rs.1300/-.
- For Female – SC/ST/PWD category candidates the registration fee is Rs.650/-.
