JKCET exam will be conducted by JKBOPEE and students who want to take admission in B. Tech or BE program then apply for the JKCET exam. JKCET Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicants can find the eligibility criteria from the official website.
  • Applicants must have a permanent citizen of the Jammu and Kashmir state
  • Candidates must be intermediate or equivalent exam from the recognized university
  • Applicants must have to score at least 50% marks and 40% for reserved category candidates

 Syllabus of JKCET :-

The syllabus of JKCET will depend on intermediate standards and subjects are Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry. Some important topics of these subjects are as follows:

Physics: Optics, Electromagnetic waves, Current electricity, Magnetic effects of current and magnetism, Atoms and nuclei, Electronic devices, Communication System, Magnetic effects of current and magnetism, etc.

Chemistry: Solutions, Surface chemistry, Chemical equilibrium, Redox reactions and Electrochemistry, State of matter, Periodic properties, Coordinate chemistry, representative elements of chemistry, Chemical kinetics, Solid-state, Transition element including lanthanides, etc.

Mathematics: Sets, Limit, Continuity, Matrix and determination, Differentiation, Conic sections, Straight lines, Vector and 3-dimensional geometry, Trigonometric and Inverse trigonometry functions, Sequence & Series, Relations and Functions, etc.

JKCET Exam Admit Card

Applicants can see or download their admit cards from the official website only. Applicants must have to carry their admit cards before entering the examination center. The JKCET admit card contains important information about the exam.

BUMAT Exam Center

As per the last year’s information, the exam will be conducted in only two cities i.e. Jammu and Srinagar. Aspirants cannot choose an exam center as per their requirements. Make sure the authority will allot the test centers to the applicants and they will available on the admit card.

JKCET Exam Result

Applicants will able to see their JKCET exam result in the second week of May through the official website only. The result will depend on the final merit list. The steps are as follows to access the result:
