JCECE: Eligibility Criteria, Application Form, and Syllabus

JCECE is a state-level exam and conducted by the JCECE board. Students who wish to take admission in B. Tech, B.V.Sc, B. Sc (Agriculture) and animal husbandry, and many other courses then can apply for this exam. Admission will be given to those students into affiliated institutions and colleges of Jharkhand state. JCECE Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicants must have Indian Citizenship
  • Applicants must have a local residential certificate or permanent Jharkhand state
  • Final year students can apply for qualifying exam also eligible for the exam
  • Applicants should have at least 17 years and the maximum age limit will be 22 years

Qualification Eligibility Criteria

For B.Tech Course: Applicants should have passed intermediate level with PCME subjects with 50% marks

For BHMS Course: Candidates must have intermediate with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English Subjects

For B.Sc (H) Agriculture and B.Sc (H) Forestry Course: Applicants must have passed their intermediate with PCM/ PCB subjects

For B.V.Sc and A.H Course: Candidate must have passed intermediate level with 50% marks and 40$ for a reserved category with PCBE mandatory subjects

JCECE Application Form

To fill the application form, applicants need to follow some steps:

  • The application form will be completed through multiple steps like Registration, Application Form, Upload Images and Documents, Application Fee.
  • Till July, applicants will be able to fill their application form
  • Applicants must have to fulfill the eligibility criteria before to fill the application form

JCECE Application Fees

  • The appliaacation fee of Rupees 900 for PCM or PCB
  • The application fee of Rupees 450 for SC/ ST
  • The application fee of Rupees 1000 for General
  • The application fee of Rupees 500 for SC/ ST

JCECE Exam Pattern

  • The JCECE exam will be held online mode
  • The question paper available in Hindi and English language
  • The total time duration to solve the question paper of JCECE will be 2 hours
  • There are (MCQs) multiple-choice questions available in the exam
  • 150 objective type questions available in the exam and 200 will be the total marks
  • For every wrong answer 1 mark will be deducted

Syllabus of JCECE Exam

The syllabus of the JCECE exam will be available on the official website and students can check their syllabus from the only official website. There are three groups of the syllabus PCMB, PCM, and PCB. The topics will be included from Biology, Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry.

JCECE Exam Admit Card

:Before the exam day, applicants can download their admit cards from the official website. The JCECE admit card contains important information regarding exams and candidates like exam date and time, exam center, candidate’s name, etc.

Steps to download the admit card:-

  • Go to the JCECE official website
  • Tap on the Download JCECE admit card link
  • Enter registration ID and DOB and click on the submit button
  • Take the printout of your admit card

Result of JCECE

JCECE result will be announced in the last week of June. Applicants would be able to check their JCECE results by click on the official website. The JCECE result will be based on the candidate’s performance in the exam. By just click on the JCECE Result from the official website applicants can see their results.

Merit List and Seat Allotment of JCECE

The JCECE merit list will be prepared based on secured marks by the applicants and involves the selection of desired seats as per applicants’ requirements. The JCECE board will be published 2 merit lists one is the Combined Merit List and the other is Category Merit List.

Applicants will be required to submit their merit list before the seat allotment. So that they can get a seat as per their choice.

Counselling Process of JCECE

The conducting authority JCECE Board conducts two rounds for the counseling process.

First Round Counselling

  • Applicants are selected on their obtained rank in JCECE exam.
  • Make sure only those applicants will be able to get seats who completed their counseling process like documents/ certificates, etc.

Second Round Counselling

  • In case if any candidate not allotted seats in the first round then they can go for second round counseling process
  • In the second round, the rules and instructions would be the same as the first round

  • One Passport Size Photograph
  • Category Certificate
  • JCECE Admit Card and Merit List
  • Educational mark sheets and certificate
  • Proof of resident

JCECE Exam FAQs

Ques. Can an applicant edit details after the submission of the application form?

Ans:- No, any candidates cannot edit their entered details once they submit their application form but the JCECE board may open the JCECE correction window for the students.

Ques. If my relatives are domicile of Jharkhand can I apply for the exam?

Ans:- No, these candidates will not allow filling their application form if they don’t have a permanent or resident of Jharkhand.

Ques. What are the documents required for Bio Stream in JCECE exam?

Ans:-

  • Highschool passing certificate, mark sheet, admit card
  • Intermediate passing certificate, mark sheet, admit card
  • Valid proof of local resident issued by C.C/ S.D.O
  • JCECE Admit Card
  • Counseling letter

Ques. Can I fill the JCECE application form if I am a resident of Jharkhand and completed XII from West Bengal?

Ans:- Yes, applicants can apply for the JCECE exam if they are a resident of Jharkhand.

Ques. If I am appearing intermediate-level exam this year. Can I apply for the JCECE exam?

Ans:- Yes, appearing candidates can also apply for the JCECE exam.
