The JELET (Joint Entrance Examination for Lateral Entry) is a state level exam. This exam is conducted every year via offline mode. Applicants can get admission on the secured rank in JELET through seat allotment and counseling process. The JELET exam will be conducted by WBJEEB(West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board). Applicants who want to take admission in a third semester or second year in various streams of B. Tech either in Government or Private Colleges of West Bengal.

JELET Eligibility Criteria
Applicants who want to apply for JELET exam must need to fulfill the eligibility criteria like qualifying exam, age limit, nationality, domicile, and percentage criteria. Check the below eligibility criteria for different courses is given below:
For BSc holders
- Applicants must have passed BSc from a recognized university with at least 45% marks( 40% marks will be for reserved category)
- Candidates must have passed 12th or intermediate with Mathematics as mandatory subjects
- BSc holders applicants are not eligible for Pharmacy Course and also for Jadavpur University
For Diploma Holders: Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must have passed diploma with at least 45% and 40% for reserved categories
- Students who want to take admission in Jadavpur University, they must have secure 60% marks and 45% for reserved category candidates
- There will be no upper age limit criteria
For BSc and Diploma Holders
Candidates will also get admission to the first year of Engineering programs if seats vacant in the first year and get vacancies in the second year

- The application fee for General categories will be Rupees 1000 and Rupees 500 for reserved category candidates.
- For foreign category candidates, the application fee will be USD 40

JELET Exam Admit Card
Applicants can download their JELET admit card through the official website and released by WBJEE Board. Applicants need to enter their login details like application number, DOB. Before going for the JELET entrance exam applicants need to check details on admit card such as name, exam center, parent’s name, registration number, exam date, etc.Â

Result of JELET
The authority will be released JELET results on its official website. The result will be released in the form of a rank card and scored marks by the applicants. Only those applicants will able to get appeared who secured marks. Applicants must have to download their admit cards with the help of user login credentials.
