JCECE 2021 Eligibility Criteria

Only those candidates can apply for this exam who are under the JCECE 2021 eligibility criteria. The authority has the right to cancel or reject the application if it finds the candidates who don’t abide by the eligibility criteria of the exam. The eligibility criteria of the JCECE exam are as follows:

Applicants must be a citizen of India
Applicants must be permanent or local resident in the state of Jharkhand are eligible for the exam
Applicants also belong to the below-mentioned age groups.
B.V.Sc and Animal Husbandry- applicants must have at least 17 years of their age before 31st December 2021
For other courses- candidate must be completed 17 years of their age on 1 July 2021 and not exceed 22 years of their age

Educational Qualification criteria

For Animal husbandry ad B.V.Sc course the applicants must have clear their intermediate or equivalent degree with English, Chemistry, Physics, and Biology
For B.Sc (H) or Agriculture- Applicants must have to clear intermediate or equivalent with Mathematics, Physics or biology, Chemistry (PCM), from the recognized board
For B. Tech (Diary technology/ Agriculture Engineering)- aspirants should have to clear intermediate or equivalent from a recognized university with Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics
For B.Sc Horticulture- Aspirants must need to clear intermediate or equivalent from recognized board with PCM/ PC Forestry/ PCBM/ PCB/ Agriculture
For B. F Sc- Applicants must have to clear class 12 or equivalent from a recognized board with Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics/ Biology, and Mathematics or Agriculture Inter

The application fee for PCM or PCB stream for general candidates will be Rupees 900 and for SC/ ST category candidates the application fee will be Rupees 450

Exam Pattern for JCECE 2021

There are multiple-choice questions available in the JCECE question paper and the entire test paper will be 150 marks. The language of the entrance test will be organized into two different languages Hindi and English. The duration of the exam will be three hours ( one hour for maths or biology, 1 hour for chemistry, and 1 hour for physics). Candidates will get 1 mark for every correct answer and .25 marks will be cut for incorrect answers.
