What is AP EAMCET Exam?
Recently, the authority has been released AP EAMCET exam date. It is a common entrance test and held on the behalf of APSCHE (Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education). The exam provides admission to those aspirants who want to take admission undergraduate courses like Agriculture, Engineering, and Medical. This exam is conducted by JNTUK every year. AP EAMCET Eligibility Criteria
Nationality Criteria:-
- Applicants must be Indian or PIO or OCI cardholders
- They must be Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana state and Local/Nonlocal status by the Telangana or AP educational institutions
Course wise eligibility criteria:-
For Engineering Courses:-
- Aspirants must have an intermediate degree with PCM or related subjects in the engineering and technology field conducted by the AP/ BIE/ Telangana
- Applicants must have diploma examination in engineering from recognized board or university can also apply for the exam
- Applicants must have at least 16 years of their age on 31st December.
For Medical/ Agriculture Courses:-
- Aspirants must have completed their intermediate level exam from the recognized university or board of Telangana/ AP
- The minimum age limit criteria are 17 years and the upper age limit criteria are 22 years for general category candidates and 25 years for SC/ ST category candidates
- Students must have to secure at least 45% marks (general category) and 40% marks for reserved category candidates in all subjects

Registration of AP EAMCET
The authority JNTUK will release its application form on its official website. Applicants who want to appear in the AP EAMCET exam must have to fill the application form. The application process includes some steps like registration, fill the application form, pay the application fee and take a clear printout of your application form.

AP EAMCET Exam Pattern and Syllabus
Exam Pattern : AP EAMCET:-
- The exam will be held through the only online mode.
- The question paper of AP EAMCET available in English as well as in Telugu language.
- The exam paper will consist of questions from physics, chemistry, and mathematics
- There are 160 MCQs questions that will be asked in the AP EAMCET exam
- The duration of the exam will be 90 180 minutes or three hours
- For every right answer, candidate will get 1 mark and no negative marking for the wrong answer
- The distribution of marks and questions are as follows:
- Chemistry- 40 questions
- Physics- 40 questions
- Mathematics 80 questions

Admit Card of AP EAMCET Exam
Aspirants are able to download their admit cards in the second week of July. Students must have to carry their admit cards before going for the exam. To download the admit card, aspirants need to enter the login details provided at the time of registration.
The admit card contains the below information:
- Name of the applicants
- Date of Birth
- Center of the exam
- Exam time and date
- Gender of candidate
Result of AP EAMCET Exam
Once the exam will be conducted the authority will release its result on the official website only. Applicants will be able to check their results by logging in to the official website. The result includes marks secured by the aspirants, qualifying status, and rank of the applicants. To see the result, applicants need to follow the below steps:
- Visit the official website and click on the result link
- Enter the registration number and hall ticket
- Click on the view result option
- A new window will open with your result
- Download the result and take the printout
AP EAMCET Cut Off
Once the result declare the authority will release the AP EAMCET cut off. Aspirants who qualified the test will be then go for counselling process on the basis of cut off. For general category candidates, the qualifying percentage of marks 25% and no qualifying will be required for ST/ SC category candidates.
Counseling process of AP EAMCET
- The counseling process will be done online mode and conducted by the Andhra Pradesh state council of higher education. Applicants will be called for the counseling process based on the merit list. Follow the below steps if you want to go with counseling process:
- Aspirants first need to pay the counseling fee through the online mode. For general category candidates the counseling fee will be Rupees 1000 and Rupees 600 for ST/ SC category candidates
- After the payment, aspirants need to visit the helpline centers which is set by the exam conducting body to complete the document verification
- The third step is choice locking which is conducted by authority only, aspirants must have lock maximum choices of colleges and institutes to get admission in top college
- Once the choice locking will complete then the authorities will allow the seat to its applicants.
